Folks,
Over the years I have been fortunate enough to acquire more radio parts than
I can ever hope to use. Well, at least more parts of certain kinds! Most of
what I have to sell are GB-type parts and tubes, old radio magazines, and some
other goodies.
In the past I have sold some things through the reflectors, either by posting
a list or in response to someone looking for a part.
However, my pile still exceeds available space, so more effective methods are
needed.
Rather than clutter up the reflector with long detailed "For Sale" emails,
I'd like to try a different approach. I'm not too experienced with websites and
such, and a simpler approach presented itself.
Because AOL allows 7 email addresses, I've set up one just for sales:
WN3IYC at AOL.COM
Anyone interested can just send an email to that address, and I'll send my
"For Sale" lists as they are created. That way, only interested parties get the
list, and it can be as long as needed without cluttering up the archives and
inboxes.
What do folks think of this idea? If enough folks are interested, the first
list will be sent in a couple of weeks.
Remember: just send an email to WN3IYC at AOL.COM
