[HBR] Reducing variable cap values

Right. I started this thread because I have a 3-gang capacitor that I
thought might serve as the main tuning capacitor, if I could reduce its
value. Looking at the response that I get with a series capacitor, or
even a series/parallel/series combination, most of the variation is
compressed into a fairly small angle of operation.
