The 7360 is an excellent product detector.  Just keep it as far as  possible 
from power supply iron.  I learned more than I wanted to from this  project.  
After experimenting with everything from mu-metal to 1/4 inch  steel, I am 
convinced that it is pretty hard to shield magnetic fields.   Had to reorient the 
power transformer to get rid of the hum.  Now my old  BC-348 does real well!
