Too cool ... this is of course the ham spirit and technique of old

That midsize Radio Schlock magnet wire is *very* close to #26 -- 
0.0165 instead of 0.01594 and allowing for the enamel that must be 
well within the tolerance for wire manufacture.

'mmf' is correct for these radios; I am always suspicious that if one 
attempts to build/repair a 1960 +/- design in pf, the set might not 
work.
