[HBR] power transformer source

Hello. I'm posting this because it may be of interest to HBR
constructors. There's a fellow on eHam.net selling power transformers
that may be useful for HBR purposes. They're 115V input, 200-0-200V @
240 mA and 6.3V @ 6 amps.

He's got 75 pcs (!) to sell, and the price is right. I'm buying one
thinking it should be usable for an HBR-11 if I forego using a tube
rectifier. (There's no 5V winding for rectifier filament.) The
rectified high voltage should go higher with the lighter load (90 mA)
of the HBR-11 than the rated 240 mA load.

I'm not affiliated with the seller, nor do I guarantee the
transformer will work as required for the HBR. Am just passing along
some info that others may find useful.

Joe K9LY
