  Subject: [HBR] G4DAF Receiver

  Hello-
I have a version of the G4DAF receiver that I obtained in a trade =
in the Houston, TX. area. I am really fascinated by the "Electronique" =
RF tuner and IF transformers.Plus, it has the good Eddystone 898 dial =
drive. However, I am so bogged down in other projects and my work that I =
hate to just let this thing lay around for a long time. Worse yet, I may =
be tempted to borrow parts off of it.
There is a nice manual that is a compilation of receiver articles =
and some component data, all pertaing to this design. I would like to =
see the receiver go into the hands of someone who will give it the TLC =
it deserves. The unit is in nice shape but is not ready for actual use, I =
did notice several component leads disconnected.
With that said, I would be interested in a trade or sale of the =
receiver. I am near Houston, TX and prefer a local deal, but unit could =
be shipped if absolutely necessary.
                  Thanks all, Byron WA5THJ.
