[HBR] Under construction HBR-??

Fellow listers,

Work continues on the HBR-?? (so called because I don't yet know the =
number of tubes it will contain!). It is progressing, although slowly. I =
have posted pix of the power supply (finished?) and the front of the =
unit (a work in progress) here:

I hope to start mounting stuff on the chassis itself this weekend. =
Current thoughts are running toward the HBR-13C circuitry, although I'll =
use the RF amp from the HBR-16, and the hang agc system from the =
modification article. May also try a 6JH8 beam deflection tube as a =
product detector, although I ordered a 6BY6 this past weekend.

Thanks to Walt and all the others who offered wise advice. I'll keep you =
folk posted . . .
