[HBR] My Retro-Radio Project (Cont.)...

Hi Walt,

Thanks for the words of encouragement!

The key word in all this stuff is simply "FUN"---and fun it is, too, from
conception to completion...

Know what I personally do as I near that crucial "final cosmetics", or
"...what-will-it-look-like-when-it's-all-done" stage...? I imagine myself
with my creation standing before the local radio club on "homebrew" night,
displaying my handiwork...do I want to spend time publicly apologizing for
the errors I committed, or basking in the glow of praise & kudos from the
masses for a job well done?!

Yes, it may be a bit of ego-stroking there, but even if NOBODY ever sees my
"baby" except for yours truly, that thought does indeed keep me & my efforts
firmly on the straight & narrow as I approach the short strokes. A bit of
time saved here CAN lead to big-time regret(s) down the road, so it's best
NOT to be in any particular hurry at that stage of the game...!

Even then, 99 times out of 100, I STILL look at the finished project & say,
"...Hmmmm, now if ONLY i'd have done this (or that) instead!" Homebrewers
are IMPOSSIBLE to please...
