Helm,
I swear by a peel-and-stick vinyl lettering product which is made by a
company called GEOGRAPHICS, based in Blaine, Washington...
For a couple of bucks you get a nice 8-1/2" x 11" sheet of all the letters
& numbers, & punctuation marks, in a wide variety of sizes. I like the
small stuff, which is less than 1/4" tall per character for my front panel
lettering. It's easy to apply, permanent (until such time as YOU wish to
remove it, that is, which is very easily done), and it looks great,
too...has the old DYMO lettering machine beat by a mile!
The better stationery/office su[pply shops sell it...comes in many
different colours & fonts, too.
