Unfortunately the limitations imposed by the lack of space and transformer
power don't leave room for such alternatives. Also the 20-15-10 M converter
is out. 40 and 80 only. And on these bands I am concerned more about strong
signal handling rather than conversion gain. I guess an RF stage will
further "soften" the 6U8.
BTW; the cabinet is from an old National NC-60.
