Hi Scott
I love my Novice Special. Sure it works fine on CW, SSB and has speaker
volume. Regens are a skill like sailing - don't give up. For two tubes, RF
and AF, it's incredible what you can receive. My first SWL/Novice receiver
was a Explorair regen kit.

dial, which is just like the "K", but a 5" diameter instead of 3 1/2", for
the purpose of building that receiver.    How is the performance of the
receiver?  Do you use it on cw?  Could you
