[HBR] coil forms

Here is an idea:

To transfer the 5 pin base outline for the coil forms, to make a base for
your new coil forms. Take a unused or a
plug that has all the pin holes open. Old 807 tube base with the innards
removed will do fine. Hold  the plug steady  with pins down, on the material
that you want to mark. Using a pin vise with a number 40 or so drill bit in
the vise, transfer the pin outline thru the pins to the material and turn
the pin vise a few times to mark the pattern outline. Do this to all 5 pins
without moving the 5 pin base. Drill out the marked holes to the desired
size.
If you are lucky to have a set of transfer punches that is better.
Works for me.
