The November '45 issue of QST describes a 21 tube "All-Purpose Receiver" It
is supposed to combine the features of the HRO and Super-Pro for ham use and
at the same time be able to provide "Hi-Fidelity" equivalent to a Scott. It
has a pair of 45s in the audio output and even a preamp to hook up to a
phono. From a quick glance it appears to be single conversion, with a
phasing type crystal filter, that can be bypassed. It has two power
supplies, one just for the audio output and the other for the rest of the
set. Besides the phono input and the mike input it also has a recorder
output, so, you can see how the tube count really adds up. You need a
magnifier to read the schematic. Well, at least I do, HI.

I kind of remember those P/Ns being from command set IFs. Right now I do not
know where my box of about 50 of them are, HI. 73 - Mike
