Kees,

This is Bill's wife replying. I'm very sorry to tell you that Bill died
on June 12 of heart failure. It was sudden and unexpected, although he
had many health problems, as you're probably aware. I'm checking his
email account periodically for personal messages and just read yours
today.

I know Bill would have been pleased to have the focus placed on his HBR
receiver. Also, I know he enjoyed hearing from you. His son and grandson
may get interested in ham radio - I think they're going to take over his
equipment and try to get his call sign reassigned to them. 

Again, I'm sorry to deliver bad news.
