[HBR] Long lost HBR-16

Hi,=20

I'm new to this list, but in 1965 I had an HBR-16. I was in college at =
the time, in Yakima, Washington, and I procured it from a fellow =
classmate who originally built it but couldn't get it working.=20

The rig stayed in storage in Palouse, Washington for about 13 years and =
I picked it up when I was on leave and took it back to Japan with me in =
1978. I never really tried getting it to work, and I ended up trading it =
to a fellow ham who worked in the Fuchu Tech Control Facility. What =
became of it after that I really don't know. It certainly looks =
amazingly similar to the one Gerry, KE7YG has, though.

Sure wish I'd kept that rig. It had the big Eddystone sliderule dial.=20

Tonight I got some info off of the HBR website and downloaded a bunch of =
info about the HBR-8 & 11 from the QST CD ROM collection. Now, I will =
start scrounging parts. I'm gonna make up for lost time.=20
