The antenha is up! Thanks to all who were able to help! Darrell and Ray
provided the supervision and guidance, Brian orovided the stand-offs made
by Ed, Jim provided the Dacron rope, Ray provided the new muffler clamps, I
provided the pulley for the mast, and Ed and my son Josh did the work. Joe
tested the antenna with his KX2.
It was a successful club project that coyld only hapoen by us working
together! I will bet we are one of only a few radio clubs with an antenna
and a pizza oven!
Next month, we willbw introduced to the Arduino. We will build build one
on a breadboard and install the bootloader. In July we will learn to
program it. The idea behind building it on a breadboard is so you can
better understand the circuit to incorporate into your own projects.
Believe me, it is cheaper to use $7 in parts than dedicating a $35 Arduino
to every project!
Don't worry about missing a session, we can run them again!
For those of you who paid for kit, thank you! If you want to participate
on the build, I will have extra kits on hand at the June meeting. I can
also take payments through PayPal.
I hope to see you in June!
