[HBQRP] Nebraska Eclipse 2017

On Monday, August 21, 2017, there will be a total eclipse across Nebraska.
It will travel over Alliance, Scotts Bluff, Gering, North Platte, Grand
Island, Lincoln, Kearney, Hastings, and Beatrice.  According to Joe
(K0NEB), Grand Island will see the greatest effect of 2 1/2 to 3 minutes.
Ray (N5SEZ) suggested we design and perform some radio experiments during
this rare opportunity.  Joe also said he knows someone very knowledgeable
in this field relating to eclipses.  For those interested, let's come up
with some ideas for operating and experimenting during this event.  This is
just 7 months away, it will come around faster than you think!

This is also the sesquacentennial (150 years) anniversary of Nebraska
becoming a state.  When operating throughout 2017, you may append "/NE150}"
to your call sign.  If you would rather celebrate the sasquatchcentennial,
just grunt after your call sign on AM/FM/SSB.  (just kidding, don't really
do that!)
