SSSSSSTTTSSSSSSSTTTSSSS
STOP THE PRESS !!
D&L Antenna will appear at
the JANUARY FREE FLEA MKT
in Omaha.
SSSSSSTTTSSSSSSSTTTSSSS
.
Next event is the yearly FREE Flea Market in Council Bluffs. Thanks to
negotiations at the
dinner, we are holding it in a larger venue this year, the Triumph
motorcycle place at
55th and Center in Omaha. (John KB0QKH's XYL Gloria KC0IHV runs the
motorcycle shop,
and John has a L O T of stuff to sell.) It's FREE admission, 7AM to Noon
on Saturday
in 2 weeks. They will have coffee. D'you want to bring some donuts or
cookies? Wear your
coat. It's in a barely heated garage-like space, just like Council Bluffs
has always been.
.
P.S. Ask John QKH, who is the entire Engineering Dept at Ch. 6, whether
he's had any
problems with water cooled output tubes lately, and if so, how he's fixed
them.
.
DIRECTIONS:
---------------------------
1 Go to 55th and Center
(from I-80 in Omaha, take 60th St exit and
Go North 1 mile to Center St, then
turn right (East) and go half a mile to 55th.
It's on the right.)
2 If you're a vendor, you may arrive
as early as 7 AM to get in line.
Bring your own table. Plenty of space.
3 If you're a buyer, wear a coat and hat.
The garage is almost unheated (50 deg.)
3a If you want to sit with a friend and talk,
then bring two chairs.
4 FREE coffee to the first 50 attending
5 If you are #12, #24, etc., please stop by
a donut shop or if you're near Pettit's Pastry
get some cookies.
6 Bring cash. Bargains galore.
7 Hang around with influential Hams in town all morning. Talk antennas.
