[HBQRP] September 11th Meeting notes

Hello all. First, the following folks were present at today's meeting in Ashland this day.

 Several folks stopped by the Aksarben Flea market in Springfield before coming to Ashland.
Joe passed some little Pixie kits he had ordered for a few of the folks.
He also demonstrated a neat little gadget that allowed us to plug in any kind of component and it would tell us what it was and what its value was. We tried to trick the little device by only plunging 2 if the 3 connections on a transistor and the little bugger told us we had stuck in a diode.  Cute.
Of course most of those watching wanted one right away...
As always, the food was good and the company was fun.
Announcement - Next month will be another anniversary or the group - there will be cake and Ice cream for all....
If you would like to volunteer to bring either, send W9HZC a note..
