I know this is old news to some of you, but I keep finding people who are unaware of this app, so I thought it
might be worthwhile to mention it on the list . . .
EveryCircuit is a wonderful and beautiful circuit simulator. It is available as an app for both Android and Apple mobile devices, and for the (non-mobile) version of the Chrome browser. It allows you to drag-and-drop components to create a circuit, to run the circuit (showing currents and voltages), to modify component values while the simulation is running, to show a live oscilloscope trace.
The app has greatly evolved since its introduction a couple years ago, and improvements have been satisfyingly frequent. It may not have every component you would wish, but some users are creating fairly complex circuits. For people like me and my grandchildren, who simply want to learn more about analog and digital electronics, it is a super tool.
