Hi Group,
I know that there are a couple of people in the group  who are looking at building for a go kit or  putting up at home an EARCHI type end fed antenna .
Here is info on EARCHI -   http://www.earchi.org/92011endfedfiles/Endfed6_40.pdf
There were several people that have mentioned this the past few weeks,  So, I thought that I would pass along this linkto the Balun Designs web page showing lengths to be used with the 9:1 UnUns that they sell.
http://www.balundesigns.com/Wire%20Lengths%20for%209-1%20ununs.pdf
In it is a chart that shows lengths and the SWR's you can expect somwhere on each band.  You will of course want to have some kind of matcher, but this looks like it would be usable on the narrow range auto matchers installed in Icom-yeasu-kenwood solid state rigs.
Note that this is for reference, and the lengths might need to be adjusted for objects in the local field of the antenna, suchas towers, buildings, fences and other large metal objects...
