[HBQRP] November 8th Meeting news..

The November meeting will be the 10th anniversary of the forming of the Midwest HomeBrewers and QRP group
.
First, There will be cake and Ice cream (Yippee).

Second - there will be a build session for those who would like to participate. Dale (Ham Gadgets.com) will be attending and will be bringing a bag full of his new Ultra Pico Keyer.  --> http://www.hamgadgets.com/ULTRA-PICOKEYER

Third - Ray (N5SEZ) and I will have a challenge take-away build.  We have selected a two Transistor BCB receiver. There will be  schematic, parts list, and layout. Ray will either have a parts bag for anyone who is present and excepts the challenge or the group will be sure that a parts bag will be mailed to folks.
All who except the challenge will have until the December 2014 meeting to complete the kit and should bring it to the December meeting. All those at the December meeting will be asked to vote on which little BCB receiver they feel is the best job, and the winner will receive another Kit from QRP-KIts.com. 

So - there you are,bring some soldering equipment, some money for Dale and maybe a friend.
Only those folks present for the meeting will be able to get one of the Keyer kits.

Forth - I need a volunteer to bring a cake, there is a Hy-Vee there in Ashland.

You should all be proud that we have maintained this group for 10 years and I expect to be bugging all of you every second Saturday for another 10 years.
