I am sorry if this is old news to you, but in case it is of interest:
Fritzing
A tool that allows easy documentation of a circuit which can include a
breadboard and components, including Arduino, Raspberry Pi, PicAxe, TI
Launchpad, and others. It allows easy creation of the circuit components
in image and/or schematic form. You can save the design for export. The
program also can use your circuit to create a printed circuit board
template. This is not a simulator, but makes documentation of circuits
easy.

Yenka
This is a very interesting program by Crocodile Clips Ltd, in the UK.
The program is designed for use in schools, but the company very
generously makes it available free for home use. (When you start the
program, you will have to verify you are at home, and it may disallow
use during what it considers school hours in your time zone.) The
program has some similarity to Fritzing in its design and PCB aspects,
but this program additionally allows you to "run" your circuit in a
simulation.
