Hello all.
The recent get together marked the end of our 9th year as a group. seems like just yesterday Darrel and I were sitting in the coffee shop near where I worked talking about how we could manage to get a little QRP group of our own going. With a lot of help from QRPKits and some help from Rex and from Dale (Hamgadgets.com) we gathered for our first 'get together' at an unused store front in Nebraska Crossing. Soon, Brian KM0Y managed a deal with the owner of the Breadbox Pizza place in Ashland. A small town located like half way between Omaha and Lincoln. We have been there ever since.
While a bunch of the group were at Ozark in Branson (5 or 6 years) we volunteered to take over the running of the Friday nights at Ozark Con in order to take some of the load off the 4state folks. It has been an interesting experience for us all and we are looking forward to another fun session this coming April 2014.
