Well, sorry to say, I know what you mean.  I have a bad case of C.R.S that shows up at some of the worst times.. 
I have some RG-8x here, but I am not sure that is enough for 50 ft.
 I see that Tom, K0AMD replied that he might have some that we could use,  Thanks Tom!
Darrel,  I don't know if you got his E-mail or not.  I will attach it to the end of my e-mail.     Thats one of the bad things about reading this stuff in digest mode.. If the list is fairly light traffic, it might be a whole day before any replys get packaged together and sent out.. 
I guess I should see about changing the settings on this list.. at least until the volume of messages picks up, it should not over whelm my e-mail box, unlike some of the other lists!
Anyhow,  You might want to contact Tom and see about the cable.  I think I have some connectors with the correct size adapter for 8x, and will try to remember to bring them to the meeting next weekend.
