Anyone interested in an HDBX tower with antennas?
Jim Larson’s mother has moved into assisted living and Jim would like to
have someone remove the tower and antennas from her house. Jim and his dad
installed them in 1988. Jim now lives in Alaska and is trying to avoid
spending the $$$ for an airline ticket to come back and hire the removal.
If you are interested contact Jim at this address: jimlarsen2002 at alaska.net
Jim sent some pictures the list will not forward. Contact me if you would
like them.

It was good to talk with you today, Darrel. I do hope you have friends that
would like to take this antenna system down for my Mom. The address is 1406
Roosevelt Drive, Atlantic, IA. Her callsign is KØJGL.
What I would hope for is to have the antennas removed, the tower taken down
and everything hauled off. The person or persons who take it down would get
over $2000 worth of equipment and tower.
Thank you for your help and it will feel good to inform the commercial guy
my Mom does not need his services.
73, Jim
1. Remove Cushcraft HF beam (A3), Cushcraft VHF beam (Jr Boomer), AEA
Isopole, and
rotator (Ham IV, I think)
2. Remove all coax and rotor cable from the house and caulk the holes
in the house. Remove cables from the premise.
3. Remove the Rohn HDBX Heavy Duty tower and schedule 80 mast. Remove from
the
premise.
HDBX40 40' EXTRA HEAVY DUTY TOWER ASSEMBLY Weight=305 pounds
4. Donna Bjorn is the next door neighbor. If you will have to drive on
her yard we will check with her on this before you do the job. I hope we
don't have to do that.
5. I would like to have this all done no later than the end of April.
