Hi Group !
Well I am still alive and kickin' but have to admit that I've been lax in
building and operating the last few months. When the grass gets green other
hobbies tend to get in the way..................garden and yard. Saturdays
are sometimes a rat race around here during the summer.
I'm going to try make the October meeting but I do have company coming from
out of town for the weekend so can't say for sure. Just have to wait and
see. Maybe most people are going to Sgt Bluff so maybe there is not going to
be a meeting. Will wait to see what is planned for the group and what others
say.
Did the dipole antenna get put up on the roof at Breadeaux's yet ??? If
not, I would be willing to help or contribute with whatever. I think it
would be fun to operate from there and put out a few qso's. Will have to
dust off my key and work the kinks from my fist since last Spring.
Steve

Well, just about. I have heard from very few people on this list in the last
month... Just saw a few from Terry, Sean, and Brian...l that I can recall.
I was wondering if there is going to be an Oct. meeting? Or is there going
to be a HBQRP group "Elmer" table at the Iowa convention on the same day? Or
are we going to begoing back to an every other month meeting thing? Or even
worse, let the group die?
I am thinking that most people will be at the convention in Sgt. Bluff .. I
am planning on going to the convention... Heck with a real "rig dealer"
there this should be a little more interesting than just the usual flea mkt
stuff...
Has there been any talk about things to do this month or even the rest of
the the year?Any Ideas?
