The subject of OHR radios came up; I am very fond of my OHR 20 and
believe it is the best 20 meter CW receiver in my radio room.
If I do any 20 meter CW it is on the OHR. I checked their web site this
morning because someone asked if the multi band OHR 500 was still being
sold.
Then answer is not any more see here -> http://www.ohr.com/ohr500.htm
The OHR 100A is available for the bands 15 to 80 and sells for $149.00,
Plus $16.00 for a ten turn pot (mine has this add on), Plus another
$30.00 for an electronics keyer, Of course, WE would only consider
installing a Pico keyer :-)
The one extra part I got was the OHR DD-1 Frequency Counter/ Digital
Dial Kit and it was worth the extra bucks
If anyone in the local area is interested in an OHR, I would be glad to
bring it to one of our get together / meetings at the Pizza place
