[HBQRP] Special Announcement

Good Morning All;
Back in mid March I applied for a seat in one of the ARRL Teachers
Institute classes this summer.

This past Monday I received e-mail notice that my application was
accepted and I will be attending the class at ARRL headquarters in
Newington, CT. this July from the 18th to 21st.  

The purpose of this e-mail is to let you know that I intend to get on
the air from W1AW as much as they will let me during the 4 days I am
there.  As I will be at the mercy of the instructor and have no real
idea of when I might get to run down the hall and grab either the mic or
a Key, I plan to pop off a quick e-mail to this e-mail group as notice
when I will try to be on the air each day. It would be great fun to
communicate with as many of you as possible while I am there.  My spouse
will be going along, so with homework and quality time with Tricia being
a priority, I may not get much on the air time in the evenings but will
take my QRP rig with me anyway. 

I am totally excited to be attending this class and hope to bring back
new exciting things to teach others my love for life as an Amateur Radio
Operator.

I will send another e-mail reminder just before I leave.
