[HBQRP] Peoria Superfest carpool? Sept 18-19th

Hello all HB-QRP groupies!
I mentioned this at last months meeting, but thought that I would bring thisup again now that the time is drawing near....I am thinking about taking a road trip to attend the Peoria Superfest. This is the 52nd year of this fest.  
Probably take the little van, so there would be room for a few 'boat anchors" and other goodies if found.

This looks to be a nice 'fest, with some 'real'  "new equipment" vendors.. and FAR circuits for those interested in getting some PCB's.   It runs 3PM to dark on Friday night, 6AM to 4PM Saturday, and  6AM to 1PM on Sunday.  
 I have room for 2-3 others to ride along and share the fuel costs and hotel.  Most likely a motel 6 or 8 or something in that price range. 
If I have any takers, I was thinking that we would leave Friday night about 6pm,  from a central meeting point,  maybe Mo Valley?   Or if any from the Fremont area, I would pick you up!     Stop about Iowa City, and stay over night. Leave in the morning early (7am?) to get to the 'fest about  9:30 or 10AM.  Stay over night in Peoria.   Would return to the starting point Sunday evening after leaving the fest about Noon or when ever the group comes up with.
Please drop me an E-mail if you are interested in this little trip.  I think it would be fun.
I know that the St. Joe 'fest is on Saturday, but from the past few times that I have been to that one, I don't think it would be worth the time.   It is one day only, and closes at 3PM.
