[HBQRP] July meeting, LobsterCon and bicycles.

Hi Group,
Well, I don't see much chatter going on here on the reflector as to what went on at the last meeting.. I didn't get to go, as I was away on Vacation.
I heard Darwin was at Lobster Con, and I see his mug in one of the pictures that someone posted of the activities.. so it looks like he really was there.. I guess he does have an excuse for missing the meeting! :)
I was going to try to make a contact with Dar on Saturday, as he mentioned trying to get back to the Lark in the Park group.  But, I forgot about it, as Mike, NF0N and myself were on the Centennial bike trail in Washington (state). We rode from the Idaho/Washinton border into Spokane and back, and when I got back I remembered that I wanted to try to make a contact.  Along with 2 hours time difference from "Home", this did not make verygood for chances of me remembering and attempting to make a contact. :(
Anyhow, enough of my excuses for not being at the meeting, I'd like to hear what went on and what is planned (if anything) for the next meeting? Anyone who went to the meeting care to comment?
