Just got my Retro-75 kit in the mail Monday. Charlie Connor (K0NG) has his
built already and was on the air with it today. I couldn't hear him due to a
local noise problem so I can't give you a report of what it sounded like. 3
to 4 kits in Lincoln that I know of right now in various stages of
construction.

Discovered my local noise is from my neighbors digital phone line running
down the top of my fence instead of being buried like it should have been.
Same company that had the recent outage. Talked to my neighbor about it and
he said he is getting it shut off as he uses his cellphone all the time.
Nice to have good understanding neighbors eh ? Hope it is soon ! ! The
digital whine kills my ears ! !

Steve
