[HBQRP] An emergency QRP generator

I remember seeing something like this years ago in a radio control
modelers 
magazine. I believe they used a motor from an old tape recorder  and had

ping pong balls cut in half and fastened to the spinning arms to catch
the 
wind. They even had a paper cutout scale for wind speed calibration.
