I'm looking at it trying to see how one could get the VFO and then
'modify' the rockmite to work with it. Interesting.

It looks like simply the Rockmite adapted with a VFO. He also looks
like he
might offer a full kit for $75 in hte future. The kits he sells now
include
only the hard to get parts, not the standard parts like most caps and
resistors, etc.
