[HBQRP] Plastic welder.. for SMT? Opinions?

Hi Group,


Was down at Harbor Freight today, and purchased a few little items, but
didn't see this in the paper flyer until I got home.  It might be something I'd like to try if no one sees any real problems with using it
for SMT.

Anyone want to hazard a guess if this would be workable for SMT stuff?
The ad' says that it is temperature adjustable.  I dunno if it would be
to much air flow, but I would suspect that if it is, that it could be modified to reduce the CFM..

Oh, they also have one that does not have the air supply, you provide your own compressed air...

Its a little cheaper, but would not be anywhere near as portable..
