Kit building Gangue,
I recently received my latest batch of Two Tinned Tunas boards and found
that they had a big problem. Many parts holes were missing and a
mounting hole for the key jack was over sized. I drilled out the missing
holes and devised a fix for the key jack. I was forced to sit down and
finish designing a serious update to the venerable little TT2
transmitter. I will probably be discontinuing the Two Tinned Tunas kit
and replacing it with this new updated version with a slightly higher
updated price....Not wanting to do it half way, I redesigned the Sudden
Storm receiver kit too. Not wanting to open up bunches of cans and
resort all the parts...and knowing that QRPers are always looking for a
bargain...
I am offering a 2009 New Year Factory Seconds Special;
1 current versionTwo Tinned Tunas transmitter kit (any band)
plus a 2nd crystal and 2 spare final transistors
and free shipping for $25.00 ( a $36.00 value)
and/or
1 current version Sudden Storm or Rexwood 1000W receiver kit
plus 3 extra crystals to cover 80m,40m,30m,20m 'watering holes'
and free shipping for $35.00 (a $50.00 value)
Please mention 'Factory Second Sale' when ordering. Quantity is limited
to the number of kits on hand. I will confirm your order status and
advise if stock is exhausted. I hope to convert these on the shelf kits
into $$$ to pay for the new boards and parts for the new kits.
Also stay tuned for a new updated web site. I hope to have the new site
on line by the end of the week...
