Hi Darwin and the group!
Well, I'd hoped that we would have good weather for the
Lark in the Park, but it looks right now that it will
be rainy and generally a crappy day for the park.
Check out the weather graph..
http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?site=OAX&llon=-97.004588&rlon=-96.209588&tlat=41.632917&blat=40.840417&smap=1&mp=1&map.x=195&map.y=181&FcstType=graphical
You might have to cut and paste.. its a long one!
Anyhow, if you can't open it, it shows thunder and about an inch of rain for tomorrow
between 7 AM and Noon, with rain in the PM also.
I am not going to plan on bringing antennas and setting up, but instead I will bring
a few odd's and ends to mess with at the pizza place..
I have a new keyboard interface chip to install in my NUE-PSK modem, and
also I have one or 2 MKARS-80 80 meter SSB kits that could go to a new
home if someone is interested in one for $110.00.
Here is some info on the MKARS 80 from the group who put the kit together..

As I have to work this weekend I am not going to be able to stay a long time
to build much of anything.. I have to put in 36 hours this weekend between
Friday evening and Monday morning. :(
Even so, I am looking forward to getting to the pizza place to eat and
talking 'radios'. Also I need to make plans with Jim KG0RD for our Dayton trip,
and deliver a radio kit to Brian KM0Y to deliver to Darwin..
73' hope to see you at the gathering!
Arnie
