Subject: North Bend School Demonstration
Today and Friday, April 10 and 11, the Pioneer Amateur Radio Club (PARC) returns to put on an amateur radio demonstration at North Bend Elementary School for 13 students. Steve, KF0MS and I, W0NRW will be at the school from 130 PM to 230 PM.
Last year, KF0MS and I were able to make 6 contacts on 20 meters despite band conditions that were less than ideal.
This year Rich, KB0ARZ and Jane, KB0ZUN have installed a G5RV antenna that will cover 10 through 40 meters. This is the same antenna we used last year.
Listen for us on 20 meters between 200 PM and 230 PM, probably around 14.268 MHz, which we used last year. If we go to 40 meters, we will try 7.268 MHz first.
Weather permitting, we will return to the school on Friday at the same time.
Dave T. W0NRW
