It's SDR time, Saturday (this one coming - like the 15th) is the
September 2007 meeting for the Midwest HomeBrewer's and QRP Group at
Ashland, Ne.
This time the project is the little SDR radios. We will have solder past
in the tubes and a couple or 3 heat guns and our SMT expert, Ray (N5SEZ)
will be assisting anyone who need assisting.
As a reminder, our Guest, Tim Sadler, WB9NLZ who writes the QRP club
articles in the QRP Quarterly (QQ) will be building along with us and
taking notes for his column in QQ. According to QRZ, Tim liver all the
way over in Valparaiso, IN and will be driving over to visit with us and
build his own SDR.
Darrel and I will try to be there a little early this weekend and we
will be listening to the Ashland repeater for Tim, in case he gets lost.
:)
That would be 146.67..
QRP Afield is also this weekend so think about bringing along your
favorite QRP rig, a battery and an antenna and some of us might go back
over to the park after the meeting and see if we can make a couple of
contacts.

Look forward to a good showing for our special visitor and the fun
project.
Be thinking about the next project, like maybe a 10 watt SSB, 20 meter
kit..??
Remember, the November meeting will mark 3 years for the group, time
flies when you are having fun. See you all in Ashland..
p.s. Mitch, bring camera..:)
