Hi Darwin,
I think I will be able to make it to the Ak-Sar-Ben meeting. Found (was told) that
I have one more personal holliday that I need to take before the end of the year or I loose it.
I should be able to bring along some radios for display. I can
bring the Elecraft KX-1 and K-1 rigs. I also have the FT-817 and
IC-703, I could bring but I suspect that the others will be bringing
those. We should get something organized so we don't have multipals of
the same rig at the presentation.
I have not started on my BiTX20a kit yet. Been waiting for the documentation to finalize and
also I have been expecting to get my K-3 'sometime soon' and didn't
want to have the BiTX20 on the workbench when the K-3 gets here.
If the K-3 is not here by the time of the meeting in Ashland I might bring
the BiTX20 down to start to work on it.

OH, also about the web site... I wonder if the problem you are having
with working on it is your computer keyboards key-map. I see you are
sending some 'odd' characters in each of the mailings you send out.
Here's a line out of your last message as an example...
DXâers see how much fun we have âº
After the letters DX I am seeing the letter "a" with a "^" mark over it, a
C shaped thing with an equal's mark in the center of it, and the letters TM up
in the location of an exponetial number. Then I see "ers" and "see how much fun we have"
and then the "a" thing with a "^" mark over it a thing that looks like a small "~" and an
'o' that looks like a degree indicator.
They have been showing up in your e-mails for a while now.. maybe thats why you can't
access your web page???
Hope that helps.. it would be very nice to have the web page working again so I could
direct interested parties to it.
