FYI-

 I found something interesting getting started on the AMQRP website 
Its a kit that is starting to come together that will allow you to
run PSK31 from a battery powered stand alone unit. (stand alone except for keyboard!)

It is not available to order yet, but they say it will be in November.

With one of these you can go out on the trail and make some PSK31 contacts
from the park bench! ...   

Speaking of park benches, what has happend to the polar bear outings?  
I have not heard much from the group about it. Has it fallen out of favor?
