Hi Everyone!
I just wanted to wish everyone on the reflector a Merry Christmas
and a happy New Year!
Also, to keep this 'on topic', here's something I found mentioned on
another e-mail reflector that could have lots of applications for
the HB QRP'er/hacker...
http://www.buglabs.net/products
and already a contest by PopSci mag to come up with interesting ideas
for this device. It runs a version of Linux..
http://popsci.typepad.com/how20blog/2007/12/announcing-pops.html
With the modules they have planned, it should be an interesting device
if it takes off and is at the right price... What kind of Ham applications
could you come up with? A portable SDR rig? A Multimode data modem? DSP? Logger?
Some of the things it has available..
GPS, Flat pannel Touch screen, 4 serial ports, WiFi,
ether net, non-volital storage, 4 SPI and 4 I2C channels and a USB port.
Have a safe and happy new year!
