[HBQRP] speakers

When I attended your September meeting, somebody (and
I do foget who) showed us a pair of speakers that plug
into the headphone jack of the KX-1.  He said he got
them at Wal-Mart for $5.

When I got back, I started looking.  No Wal-Mart
within masny miles had anything like that.  In
Plymouth, I did see a pair of speakers with some sort
of an amplifier for $20.  I was not interested.

Yesterday, in my local Kohl's, they had a display of
things to go with your Ipod.  Included was a set of
speakers with a docking station (for the Ipod I
assume) in the center.  It comes with a stereo plug in
plug for your KX-1 and runs either on 4 AAA batteries
or the 6 V AC adapter included.  The selling price was
$3.99.

Got one and it work fine!!
