Some of us are getting old you say ????? I like to think of us as "old
radios"..............CLASSICS ! !
Can't recall what I first built but I know it was a Heathkit back in the
70's.
Been thinking lately of some kind of a crystal set. I have never built one
with the wooden board, fahnstock clips, spider web wound antenna etc.
Dar, how did the Polar Bear outing go ???? Anymore thoughts on being the
NAQCC bear for Nebr.???
Steve/WBØQQT................see you the 18th.

Hi there, of course there are still HomeBrewer's left, of course, some
of us are getting old. (right Steve?).
My first 'home brew' rig was a 6 meter AM rig (transistors) and it
worked. :)
Come to the next meeting, Nov. 18th in Ashland. Info is on web site.
Bring stuff to show!
See ya! Dar...

I didn't think there were any home brewers left.
I'm WA0RHY in Fremont, NE. I work AM on 7285 & 7290, plus 10
meters. 2 meters and 6 meters. CW on most of the bands.
