My name is Pete (aa9nf) and I live in Naperville, IL. 
I became interested in your group after looking at the
pictures on the web site from your meetings. I have
been building radio gear for over ten years.  My first
QRP kit was a Oak Hills Research QRP explorer for 40
meters.  I still use this rig today.  I've also built
a Small Wonder DSW-20 which I sold when I built the
elecraft K2.  The K2 is my favorite QRP rig. 
Recently, I built a Small Wonder SW40+ for
backpacking.  I did a brief writeup of my experience
with this rig for the Adventure Radio Society.
