OK, fellow QRPers, who would like to step up to the plate and operate as a ‘Bear’ on Friday or Saturday.
You don’t have to be on all day, just be on at an advertised time (and freq.) and be there for other QRP folks who are looking for Nebraska or Iowa.
Reply to me and Ron if you can do a couple hours on either day.
I will operate for a couple hours on Sunday to help cover it.
Thanks folks....
Dar..

Thanks Dar!

All up to you.  QRP freq. areas are best of course.
Of late, only 80m open at night, but 40m could be open.

During the day 20m might be open, which would be good if you could operate through the day.

We post your operating times and freq. on the WAS Bear Hunt web page so the Bear Hunters will know where to find you.

Check http://www.arm-tek.net/~yoel/wasproject.html  for more details.

Maybe some of your "buddy Bears" could split up Friday and Sat.?

Hey Dar!

Any chance of you or one of your QRP buddy bears filling in as an NAQCC Bear for the rest of this week?

I'm trying to pull together some sort of portable rig so that I can play Polar Bear.

Morning Ron,
As a matter of fact, this came up at our QRP get together this weekend and several of the group (mostly old retired guys) were not to keen on having to promise to be around for a whole week.   A day or two during a month, I’m betting they can handle that.

Send me more info or point me to where to look it up and I’ll get to work on it with the group.  It is a good bunch and besides builders, there are several real ‘operators’ in there.  ☺
So – tell us more…..

 Hello Darwin ,

We have now instituted a "Bear for a Day" option to the WAS Bear Hunt.

Any chance that you or your buddies would like to try this?
Have a nice winter!
