[HBQRP] SENRC Annual Fall Potluck Announcement

SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA RADIO CLUB

Greetings to all:

As a reminder, the annual fall potluck is slated for September 18, 2005 at
Coryell Park, at 1:00 P.M.

Bring a friend, a prospective ham, an entire club, or anyone that enjoys
good food and fellowship.  Also, please bring a dish and table service.
Have a story to tell?  Bring that too.

How was Field Day for you?  I went with a bunch of rookies in Missouri this
year.  Hey, we did fine.  We ran QRP with two transmitters.  One was on SSB
and one (ahem) was on CW.  The antennas were horizontal quad loops at about
30 feet. One thing we did was manage to have fun.  When the results come out
look for W0WNR.

Remember, QRP Afield is September 17 this year if you are interested.  That
is the day before the potluck.  I will probably make my annual Pilgrimage
backpacking into Indian Cave and take my 1 watt rig and operate 20 CW.
Hopefully, my youngest son will go along again. (He is in better shape then
I am)
