Thanks for the good information on toroids at partsandkits.com. Think I'll print out the charts and put them in my qrp builders notebook. Excellent reference material ! !

I'm going to start the "rewind" using the 22 gage Rat Shack magnet wire and 29 turns for starters. I'll let you know how that works and if it works ok then I'll call it good. If that doesn't work I'll remove 2 turns and try again to see what changes I find. I'll post my result here on the website.

Ahhhh, errrrr, hmmmm with having these SW 30 toroids to wind plus a few in the ALT tuner and the Elecraft T-1 to do yet, I may not opt to experiment winding too much. On the other hand some people count sheep to go to sleep so I guess winding toroids in my head wouldn't be that much different. Right ??
