Yep... afraid so.
At the bottom of page 26.4:
"Signal tracer - Signals can be traced with a voltmeter and an RF probe, a
dip meter with headphones or an oscilloscope, but there are some devices
made especially for signal tracing. A signal tracer is..."
And that is the only mention of an RF probe. No picture, no schematic, and
no instructions on how to use it.
Dar has a 2006 Handbook, I wonder if they put it back in?
I guess you don't need to troubleshoot "throw away radios". If you have
anything more valuable, you can afford a "signal tracer" or a repair shop.

You're kidding! No way. How sad is it when the Handbook doesn't have an
RF probe? My 2003 edition has one on page 26.11. Is it really missing in
the '05 edition?
