Hi Gang...
Just a quick reminder the HomeBrewers QRP Group Meeting is this Saturday
July 9th at 11:00 am.
We will be meeting again at Breadeaux Pisa in Ashland, NE. (Same place we
we've been meeting.) They have reserved the party room for us at 11:00 am.
In case you haven't been able to make it, Breadeaux Pisa is located in
downtown Ashland, near 14th & Silver Streets. (Take Highway 6 to Ashland,
and follow the signs to the downtown area. Ashland is about half way
between Lincoln and Omaha Nebraska.)
I have a box of 6 of the 4stateQRP/KD1JV Power and SWR Meter Kits to build
at the meeting. I had 4 people respond to my earlier e-mail so there are 2
unclaimed kits.
I also have 4 of the NorCal BLT tuners left (I will send any extra BLTs back
to Doug Hendricks after this meeting.)
Both kits are fairly straight forward, so we should be able to get most of
the kit built at the meeting. (Since we have a limited number of kits, I
will offer them at the meeting first. If we have any left over I will give
anyone who can't attend a chance to buy in a e-mail after the meeting.)
If you have another project you would like to work on (or ask for some help
with) please feel free to bring it too.
Breadeaux Pisa does not mind if we do some soldering (and using their
electrical outlets), as long as we did not damage the tables. So bring your
soldering irons and a few small tools. We'll have some outlet strips,
extension cords, and cookie sheets to work on..
Feel free to come and build, just watch, visit, heckle, Elmer, etc. :)
We will start at 11:00 am, adjourn/pause to eat around noon, Breadeaux Pisa
specializes in Italian pizza and pasta dishes, and continue until whenever.
:)
See you Saturday Morning in Ashland...
Darrel, K0AWB...
[Some of you may get 2 or more copies of this e-mail... This will be the
last time I send notices to my older e-mail list and the new HBQRP List. If
you haven't signed up for the new list please do so. If you need help,
Darwin (our webmaster, e-mail list coordinator, general computer guru, and
all around good guy!) will be happy to help you.]
